Who is J.I.D?
If you ask any rap connoisseur who the most underrated talent in the genre is, it's likely you'll hear the name J.I.D.
Born and raised in Atlanta, he signed with J.Cole's Dreamville Records in 2017. He has dabbled in collaborative efforts such as Dreamville projects, and rap collectives Spillage Village and Zoink Gang. His own studio albums have all been met with critical acclaim and produced chart-topping singles.
Whether in collaboration or on his own records, J.I.D has been highly acclaimed and admired for his fluent rapping style and masterful usage of wordplay.
